I’M HIRING: 
Freelance seamstress.

I am looking to build a confident and skilled team of seamstresses to help with production demand.

This role is freelance only.

You have the option to work in our Edinburgh studio with me or you can work from home using your own sewing machine and overlocker. Your home MUST be smoke & pet free.

You must also be able to travel to my studio in Edinburgh city centre. If working from home you must be able to travel to my studio once every week to be suitable for this role. (this will be to pick up fabric and also to drop off your pieces once they have been made up)

Flexible working hours but must be available to work around 2-3 days a week on sewing orders.

Must have:

✿1-3 years experience in a sewing/manufacturing/pattern cutting role.

✿Self employed / freelance worker, (if working from home) you must have your own sewing machine and overlocker.

✿High knowledge of garment construction, fit and working with a variety of fabrics is essential.

✿You will need to be able to complete sewing garments swiftly within the set time frames with confidence & high attention to detail.

✿You’re a professional that has prior experience in garment manufacturing.

✿Must be passionate about made-to-order / slow fashion. 

✿Hard working, can work to deadlines & is a team player .
