How do I order? I only open my e-shop for orders once every two weeks. As everything is handmade by me I can only accept a limited amount of orders at any one time in order to sew and send everything within a reasonable time frame. My e-shop usually opens on Sunday’s at 6pm UK time – I can be fully booked with orders anywhere within the first 10 – 60 minutes of the e-shop opening. If you don’t want to miss out on a shop opening and placing an order please make sure to sign up to my newsletter or keep an eye on the countdown on the homepage of my website for the exact date and time when all items are next available to order.
How do you make your garments? All items are completely designed and handmade to order from scratch by me, Olivia Rose Havelock in my home studio in Edinburgh.
How many employees do you have? None, I run this whole brand on my own 🙂
Is your brand ethical & sustainable? I would never claim my brand to be 100% ethical and sustainable. I don’t believe any brand can be. However, here at Olivia Rose The Label; every single item is designed and handmade to order by me only at my home studio here in sunny Edinburgh. Everything is completely made-to-order and made-to-measure (by me only)- this means I hold absolutely no stock and only start sewing an item once it has actually been ordered. I do this in order to reduce any unnecessary waste and also to be able to cater to any shape or size. All fabrics are sourced by me in the uk in tiny quantities (I only buy what I need). I open my shop once every 2 weeks atm and can accept no more than around 14 orders at any one time in order to keep things slow and special. If you order a piece from me it is unique, made with so much care and love, and very limited in number.
Do you ship worldwide? Yes. Each order is sent with a tracked and signed for service also, please see my delivery and returns page for more info.
How long do orders take to be made and delivered? This can all depend on demand – as everything is handmade to order by me only – there is no stock and everything is made from scratch once an order has been placed. Usual waiting times are around 14 days but during busy periods can be up to 3 – 4 weeks. You will be updated with a despatch email with tracking info once your item has been made and sent.
How should I care for my ORTL garments? Due to the delicate nature of my items (i.e lots of shirring) I recommend all items to be hand washed, hand dried and steam ironed. Please do not bleach or tumble dry your ORTL pieces.
How do I order my correct size? Please check my sizing guide page: You can check your correct sizing from there 🙂 if the standard sizing guide doesn’t quite fit for you, not to worry I’ve got your back! I offer custom measurements at no extra cost which you can leave in the notes section when checking out.
How do I give my own custom measurements? For custom measurements you simply have to measure yourself, choose the ‘custom size’ option on the item you are interested in buying and then simply leave your custom measurements in the notes section of the checkout. Please checkout my sizing guide for more information on this.
Do you do plus size? Yes 🙂 As every item is handmade to order by me – I am able to make for any shape or size, please refer to my sizing guide for more info.
Do you accept custom orders? I do, but I only offer custom orders if you are interested in an style from my website that you want to tweak slightly (such as make it longer / shorter / mix certain elements of styles or maybe you want a different colour / fabric that I already use) please email me to email@example.com with your request and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Once a custom order has been accepted, I will make a ‘Custom Order’ listing for you on my shop page for you to purchase 🙂
Can I return my order? As every item is lovingly handmade to order by me, unfortunately I am unable to offer refunds. To help reduce waste, each item is totally made to order just for you, if an item doesn’t get ordered, it doesn’t get made. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your purchase I do offer exchanges or alterations at an extra cost. More information is available on my delivery and returns page.
